1. Restrict available audits
This section allows the user to determine whether audits should be restricted, so that the Work Programmes visible in the Audit Work module are restricted to show only those audit files that the user has been assigned to through the Auditors & Budgets tab of the audit file.
- Select the check box to activate the setting
- Select Submit changes to save the setting
- The impact of this setting is visible in the following check box in Audit Work; which will appear ticked and greyed out, meaning it's permanently applied
2. Import/Export
This section allows the user to determine if the Import/Export functionality in Audit Work is available for use to allow the transfer of Work Programmes.
- Select the check box to activate the setting
- Select Submit changes to save the setting
3. Immediate review
This section allows the user to determine if a Work Programme can be reviewed when it is in a user’s local store. The user does not need to secure a back up to the shared server for the Work Programme to be reviewed and is designed to facilitate the process for reviewing offline.
- Select the check box to activate the setting
- Select Submit changes to save the setting
- With this option turned on the option to Start Reviewing this Work Programme will appear in the Audit Work Actions menu within Audit Work when the Work Programme is selected
4. Consolidation
This section allows the user to determine whether one or more users can work on the same Work Programme. The Work Programme results can then be consolidated, and any conflicts can then be resolved.
- Select the check box to activate the setting
- Select Submit changes to save the setting
- With this option activated, where conflicts exist the Consolidate Multiple Copies option will appear in the Audit Work Actions menu within the Audit Work module when the Work Programme is selected
5. Interim Review
This section allows the user to determine whether the option for Interim Review is available so that the auditor can continue to work on a local copy whilst the review process is being undertaken.
- Select the check box to activate the setting
- Select Submit changes to save the setting
- With this option activated, the Continue working during the review option will appear in the Audit Work Actions menu when the Work Programme is selected
6. Additional review options
This section allows the user to specify whether the review on Work Programmes is to be extended to the review of text fields and the review of linked files.
- There are essentially four options to select from
- None selected
- This is the status quo without having to review additional fields and files
- Review text fields only
- The free text fields that auditors have completed within a Work Programme must be reviewed
- Review linked files only
- The linked files that have been attached to Tests through the Work Programme Template must be reviewed
- Review both – requires both text fields and linked files to be reviewed
- Select the check box to activate the setting
- Select Submit changes to save the setting
7. Conditional unavailable items
This section allows the user to have availability to conditional elements in the work programme template such as risk control and tests.
- Select the check box to activate the setting
- Select Submit changes to save the setting
- Please note the user must log out of Internal Audit and log back in for the settings to be applied.
- The changes to this setting are only applied to Work Programmes created after the change is submitted
