When creating a checklist template, it's important that you link it to the entities you want it to be available for. This article walks you through how to do that.
1. Assigning checklists
Once you have created a checklist template, to make it available for use, you need to assign it to entities.
To link the template:
- Go to the Template Designer.
- Select Checklist.
- Open the relevant active template.
- Click Properties.
- Select the Linked Entities dropdown.
- Associate the template to the relevant entities/entity level.
- Save.
To make the checklist available to some entities in a group, tick the box(es) next to the relevant child entities.
To make the checklist available to all entities in a group, tick the box next to the top level entity in the Audit Universe.
Your template should now be available for all new audits of the types selected.
If a Template Type is selected when associating the checklist to an audit, the Audit Type must match.
