Work programme and template settings

This article outlines the configurable options for Work programme and template settings within Audit Creation and Review.
1. Edit templates
This section allows the user to determine if the structural changes can be made to work programmes that are attached to an audit file.
- Select Audit Creation and Review then under Work programme and template settings select the check box Edit templates
- Select Submit changes to save the settings.

The user must log out of Internal Audit and log back in for settings to be applied.

When a user opens a work programme within an audit file in Audit Creation and Review, if the check box is selected the user will be able to see the Edit structure tab. If not selected the option will not be visible.

Changes made to the work programme template are applicable only to the associated template. The original, unchanged template design will continue to be used for other audits
2. Assign users
This section allows the user to determine if User Assignments are to be included as an option within an audit file.
- Select Audit Creation and Review then Work programme template settings and activate the check box Assign users
- Select Submit changes to save the settings
- The user must log out of Internal Audit and log back in for the settings to be applied
- When a user opens a work programme within an audit file in Audit Creation and Review, if activated the user will be able to see the User Assignments tab
3. Security mode
- When using the previous option to Assign Users, the assignments made can be extended to restrict the view of all items associated with the Work Programme, such as Recommendations and Attachments that are created during the fieldwork.
- With the security mode not checked, the User Assignments will only restrict the Risks, Controls and Tests of the Work Programme. Recommendations and Attachments added through these elements will not be restricted.
4. Approve changes
This section allows the user to determine if approval is needed when an auditor makes any structural changes to a work programme template or user assignments.
- Select Audit Creation and Review and then Work programme and template settings and activate the check box Approve changes
- Select Submit changes to save the settings
- The user must log out of Internal Audit and log back in for the settings to be applied.
- If the user has activated this setting, then any changes made within Customise Template or User Assignments in individual work programmes attached to an audit file will require approval
5. Audit score calculation
This section allows the user to determine how the audit score is calculated within Audit Creation and Review.
- Select Audit Creation and Review and then Work programme and template settings and select one of the three relevant options

Use Work Programme only

The audit scores generated will be from the work programmes completed in Audit Work

Use Self-Assessment Work Programme only

The audit score is calculated from the work programmes completed via self-assessment

Use average of Work Programme and Self-Assessment Work Programmes

The audit scores are assessed from both types of work programmes

Select Submit changes to save the settings.

The user must log out of Internal Audit and log back in for the settings to be applied.

When a user opens an audit file and selects the Work Programmes tab, they will be able to see the work programme score at the bottom of the screen
