Users who want to configure Entity Universe settings

Elevated permissions are required.

This article outlines the configurable options for Entity Universe.

1. Audit Universe levels

This section allows the user to determine the additional levels to be added to the Audit Universe. The default and minimum setting is three levels.

Note: The maximum number is 20 levels.

1. To access select
   1. Entity Universe
   2. Entity Universe settings
   3. Enter the number of additional levels required

2. If the user increases the Audit Universe to 4 levels, they will need to enter the relevant value

Note: If additional levels are required, they will be inserted after the third level of the Audit Universe. Please contact the mksupport@ideagen.com if re-ordering of the universe labels is required.

3. The additional level of the Audit Universe will now appear when navigating to
   1. Tools
   2. Configuration
   3. Select configuration
   4. Audit Universe
   5. Add item - Add sub item to selection

2. Process Universe levels

This section allows the user to determine the number of levels that form the Process Universe.

1. To access select
   1. Entity Universe
   2. Entity Universe settings
   3. Enter the number of Process Universe levels required

2. Select Submit changes to save the settings.

3. Auditable sections

This section allows the user to link audits to the Audit Universe and Process Universe.

1. The link of audits to the Audit Universe is mandatory and cannot be changed. Where the user decides to link audits to the process universe select Submit changes to save the settings

2. Select the relevant levels from both the Audit Universe and the Process Universe by ticking the relevant check boxes
3. Select Submit changes to save the settings
