1. Available scoring methodologies

This section allows the user to determine what scoring methodologies are available for use in Internal Audit.

1. Users can add multiple work programme score models by selecting the relevant check boxes.

2. Select Submit changes to save the settings
3. The chosen work programme score models can be found when creating a new work programme template within Template Designer under Template Type

2. Default scoring methodology

This section allows the user to determine the default work programme template when creating a new work programme.

1. Select the Default scoring methodology which will present the user with this template each time a work programme template is created

2. Select Submit changes to save the settings

3. Available features

This section allows the user to determine whether Risks, Controls and Tests within a work programme template link to Audit Areas, Risks or Themes.

1. This is extended to Departments and the ability to set up Predefined Recommendations
2. Select the relevant items to feature within the work programme template

3. Select Submit changes to save the settings

4. Answer list standard items

This section allows the user to determine the answer list items found within answer lists attributed to Controls and Tests.

1. Select the check boxes to determine which answers are to be available

2. Select Submit changes to save the settings
3. The drop-down list for each Control and/or Test will then appear as follows

5. Risk, Control Creation

This section allows the user to determine the parameters for the creation of Risk and Controls.

1. Select the check boxes to suit your needs

2. Select Submit changes to save the settings

6. Processes

This section allows the user to determine whether the Process Universe can be used and linked to work programmes

1. Select the check box to activate the setting so that each Risk can be attached to a process when editing work programme templates

2. Select Submit changes to save the settings
3. The user must log out of Internal Audit and log back in for the settings to be applied
4. This will then provide the user the option to link entities from the Process Universe to the work programme

5. The changes that are made within this setting only apply to new work programmes that are created after the setting has been made. The existing work programmes will not have the new settings applied.
6. This has the effect that some work programmes in the database use processes, while others do not. If possible, this setting should be set at the implementation stage and not changed.

7. Risk assessment

This section allows the user to determine whether Inherent Risk is included in the work programme template.

1. Select the checkbox to activate the setting to allow inherent risk assessment to be available at the template design stage

2. Select Submit changes to save the settings
3. When creating a work programme template, the user will see the following option at the Risk level

8. Risk priority

This section allows the user to determine whether a Risk priority is to be associated to a risk within a work programme template. This allows for a risk to be categorised as High, Medium or Low.

1. Select the check box to activate the setting

2. Select Submit changes to save the settings
3. Once this configuration has been applied the user will then be able to select the Risk priority when creating a new risk in a work programme template

4. The list of risk priorities can be changed by navigating to
   1. Tools
   2. Configuration
   3. Defined Lists
   4. Work Programme
   5. Risk Priority

9. Control Type

This allows the user to display the control type in the work programme template controls if activated.
