Amending an Approved Timesheet

Elevated permissions are required.
This article outlines the process for Correcting and Approved Timesheet.
1. Checking your permissions
- Checking that you have the permission to modify approved timesheets can be achieved by accessing
- Tools
- Configuration
- Users Roles and Permissions
- Check that the option for Allow changed to approved timesheets is ticked
- If the option is not ticked and you are unable to select it, you will need to contact your System Administrator
2. Correcting and Approved Timesheet
- To correct and Approved Timesheet navigate to
- Time and Expenses Recording
- Find the Approved Timesheet you wish to modify
- Click it and select Lock Timesheet to edit the values

The default setting for editing a timesheet in the past is 3 months. However, this can be changed.
- If the Timesheet is older than 3 months old, you need to check your Past entry lock limit (months).
- This can be confirmed by navigating to
- Tools
- Methodologies
- Time Recording Configuration
- Settings
Important Note: If you do not have access, please liaise with your line manager or the system administrator.

- You also need to ensure that you have a rule that allows Read Write access to everyone or the relevant individual you are wanting to correct a timesheet for. You can check this by navigating to
- Time Recording Configuration.
- Timeline access rights tab.
- You also need to ensure that you have a rule that allows Read Write access to everyone or the relevant individual you are wanting to correct a timesheet for. You can check this by navigating to
- Select Submit changes.
- To commit the changes in full, will require a full exit out of the software.
- Please login to return to Time & Expenses Recording module to edit the Timesheet.
