This article explains how to manage work programme templates, including retiring, restoring, and removing active status from templates.
Accessing the template management tool
To access the template management tool:
- Go to Template Designer.
- Select the Work Programmes sub-module.
- Select the Manage Templates icon.
The wizard presents four options for managing your work programme templates.
Retiring an active or draft template
Retiring a template moves it to retired status, removing it from the list of available templates to download. This does not affect audits or fieldwork where the template has already been used. The template is not deleted and can be restored if needed.
To retire a template:
- Select Retire active or draft template.
- Select the relevant work programme template.
- Select Finish.
- Select Close.
Restoring a template from retired status
Restoring a template changes its status from retired back to active, making it available for download again.
To restore a template:
- Select Restore template from retired status.
- Select the relevant work programme template.
- Select Finish.
- Select Close.
Removing active status
Removing active status rolls back a template's status from active to approved or draft. This is only possible if the template is not already in use.
To remove active status:
- Select Remove active status.
- Select the relevant work programme template.
- Select Finish.
- Select Close.
Once the active status is removed, the work programme template reverts to an Approved status.
