1. Creating the Project Universe
- Navigate to
- Configuration
- Project Universe
- Select New Project Universe
- The right-hand side of the screen will provide fields to define the Name and Description. Only the Name is a mandatory field, as indicated by the red asterisk. Complete the fields as required and select Add
- Confirmation will be provided in the banner at the top of the screen and the new Project Universe level will appear in the list on the left
- As the Project Universe is an unlimited hierarchal structure, sub-level Projects can be added within the level created, or additional top-level Projects can be added
- To add additional top-level Projects, continue to select New Project Universe and create as many as needed
- To add sub-level Projects, use the cursor to first select the top-level Project that it will belong to. In doing so, the New button will change description accordingly
- Select New level under and the same set of fields will be provided as before
- Follow the same path to determine the Name and Description, and once the new sub-level Project has been added this will be confirmed in the Project Universe list that builds on the left-hand side
- To return to the opening Project Universe screen, select Cancel from any of the levels selected
- The Name and Description of any Project Universe level can be edited at any time. Ensure the level is highlighted in the list and once changes have been made, click Update
- The banner at the top of the screen will confirm when changes are successfully saved
- To amend the location of sub-level Projects (moving the level to reside within a different top-level Project), simply drag-and-drop items as needed
- The mouse cursor will change to the hand icon once drag-and drop is engaged
- The system provides an arrow marker to indicate the new location being chosen
