This article outlines the steps for installing the client Add-ins for use in MS Office Word.

1. Understanding prerequisites 

Before beginning the installation of the Add-ins, please ensure that:

1. You are logged in with administrative privileges.
2. You have installed the correct version of MS Office you will be using.

2. Installing the Office Add-ins

1. Using a web browser navigate to https://office.mkinsight.com/mkinsightoffice/

Select the version of MS Office you have installed.
Selecting MS Office 2013 is compatible with later versions also.

2. Select 32 bit.exe or 64 bit.exe based on your Microsoft Office installation.
3. If you're not sure which version of MS office you have installed, please follow these steps below to check for prior to office 2013.
   1. Open Microsoft office word.
   2. Click on File.
   3. Choose Help.
   4. You will be able to validate your version in the screen shown.

4. For Office 2013 and above.
   1. Open Microsoft Office Word
   2. Click on File.
   3. Choose Account.
   4. Click on About Word.

5. When you have identified the version you require and clicked to download it, you will be offered the option to save the file.
6. Save this file to your local computer.

7. Once it download is finished extract the downloaded .zip file
8. Run the setup.exe file.
9. Follow the wizard to install the Add-ins, selecting the defaults and accepting any license agreements.
10. Once the install is complete you can validate that the Add-ins were installed.
    1. Open a word document.
    2. Select the Insert ribbon
    3. Ideagen Internal Audit (Aura) Cross-References should be visible towards the right side of the ribbon.
