Attachments in an audit may be irrelevant, mistakenly added, or duplicated. Users might want to delete these attachments. This article explains how to remove them from an audit.
1. Deleting an attachment from an audit
- Ensure that the audit in question is securely backed up.
- Select Manage Audit Associated Data.
- You will then be asked to select a task from the Delete Associated Data wizard. As you intend to remove attachments, select Delete Attached Files.
- Select the audit from which you intend to remove files, then select Next.
- You should now see the documents attached to your audit. Select the files you intend to delete and then select Finish.
- You will be asked to confirm whether you want to proceed, as this is an irreversible action. If you are sure, select Confirm Continue, and the wizard will begin removing the attached file.
