Users who want to learn to Convert Standard Users to Active Directory (AD) Users

Elevated permissions are required.

This article outline the process for converting a Standard User to and AD User.

1. Navigate to
   1. Tools
   2. Configuration
   3. Select Configuration section
   4. Users, Roles and Permissions
   5. Manage User Types and Licenses

2. Find the relevant user in the list and deselect them as an audit / risk user, leaving them only as a Person

3. Select Close
4. Reopen the same Manage User Types and Licenses window
5. Select the Audit / Risk options on the same user and the following window will appear

4. Select Use active directory linked credentials

5. Select the Select Active Directory account button.
6. The AD popup screen will displayed.
7. Search by surname to populate the users list.
8. Select the user and select OK and OK again.
9. Close and Submit changes.
10. The user will then be able to log into the system automatically using their AD account.
