Converting Standard Users to Active Directory (AD) Users

Elevated permissions are required.
This article outline the process for converting a Standard User to and AD User.
1. Converting a User
- Navigate to
- Tools
- Configuration
- Select Configuration section
- Users, Roles and Permissions
- Manage User Types and Licenses
- Find the relevant user in the list and deselect them as an audit / risk user, leaving them only as a Person
- Select Close
- Reopen the same Manage User Types and Licenses window
- Select the Audit / Risk options on the same user and the following window will appear
- Select Use active directory linked credentials
- Select the Select Active Directory account button.
- The AD popup screen will displayed.
- Search by surname to populate the users list.
- Select the user and select OK and OK again.
- Close and Submit changes.
- The user will then be able to log into the system automatically using their AD account.
