- Upon entering the password the system prompted an error stating it was incorrect.
- Access the Online Setup web page by accessing the application server and navigate to
- IIS
- Right-click Setup app
- Click Browse
- When entering the account password the system displays a message Access Denied.
- This happens because the user running the app pool did not have the relevant permissions to write to the folders in inetpub/wwwroot/12_0.
- You must ensure that the user running the Application Pool has Full Control over the 12_0 folder so that the account password can be written to the correct file.
