1. Restricting visibility of specific Audits and Work Programmes
- If there are cases where an Audit or Work Programme contains highly confidential information, it may be that these files should only be visible to certain members of the Audit team. The system has the capacity to restrict access at an Entity, Audit and Work Programme level. This can be done for specific users, roles or even entire teams. When utilized, the Entity Access List can completely hide and restrict an Audit and its associated data from view.
- To do this navigate to
- Tools
- Configuration
- Select configuration section
- Entity Access List.
- There are a number of items held within this section. Firstly, users can filter what items are currently visible in list, such as Audits and Audit Programmes.
- Opting to view Audits and Audit Programmes will provide you with the ability to restrict access to a specific file, as opposed to an entire entity.
- As you drill down through the entities, the individual files will become available.
- Assignments can be set by clicking the Add option at the bottom of the screen, and adding the required Users, Roles or Teams.
- These assignments can then be set to Allow or Deny depending on what access they require to the specific file or entity.
Important Note: If you restrict access to an Audit file, all associated data such as Audit Programmes and Recommendations will also be restricted..
