Overview

The system provides users with the ability to create and configure users and roles. Within these users and roles, permissions are set that allows or restricts access to functionality throughout the application.

When a large number of users are considered, there may be a requirement to view the permissions on a larger scale.

Walkthrough

In order to view this information in a reportable format, Pentana MK allows the export of a full Permissions Grid. This grid will display all users in the system, and the permissions associated with their account.

This can be accessed by navigating to Tools > Configuration > Users Roles and Permissions > Export permissions grid:

The system will also allow you to define which user types will be included in the report:

The grid will extract into Excel, and can be filtered and modified as required. Below is an example of a Permissions Grid Report:

The report will group the permissions based on the modules they apply to within the system. Each column corresponds with a user, and will display Yes or No depending on if they have the permission or not.
