Introduction

Depending on the configured Authentication type, users can access the Pentana Audit Version MK system via Active Directory, Single Sign on or using a standard username and password.

Depending on the configuration of the MK Setup on the application server, the system will allow the creation of all user types.

Walkthrough

This is configured within the Setup application for the Pentana Audit Version MK system, which is accessed via the Application Server.

You can access the Setup app by entering the Server Location Address into a browser, and adding the version number and '/Setup' to the URL - alternatively local host can be used.

https://localhost/12_0/setup.

Another route would be to access the Setup App within Windows Internet Information Services (IIS). Navigate to the app labeled 'Setup', right click to Browse and view Application.

Once in the Setup App, navigate to Global Settings to reach the following screen:

Here you can define what type of user can be created in the system, and thus log into Pentana Audit Version MK.

Tick the relevant box, and save the settings with the Setup App to complete the process!
