There are instances where the necessity for an active Work Programme diminishes, leading to its deletion from the system. This may be warranted in situations such as the inadvertent creation of a duplicate or when the designated template is no longer relevant to the associated Audit. This outlines the process of removing a Work Programme in such circumstances.

Users will only have access to this section if they have the relevant permissions enabled. If you are unable to access any of the areas outlined in this guide, please speak with your Pentana MK system administrator or contact support.
1. Deleting the Work Programme from the Audit Work module
- In order to remove an active Work Programme from the system, it must first be deleted from the Audit Work module
- Within the Audit Work module there are a number of tool bars, one of which will contain the option to Manage work programmes.
- Upon selecting this a new window will appear containing two further options. Select the option to Delete a work programme from the data store.
- In the following screen, the user will be presented with a number of search filters that will help with reducing the number of Work Programmes that are shown which will allow you to find the relevant file.
- Once the relevant filters have been selected

- Select Next to see the results of the search.
- Select the relevant Work Programme file
- Tick the box to the left of the name field
- Select Finish.
This This will finalize the process and delete the Work Programme from the system.
If the Work Programme was created using a Template, it will still be visible within the Audit Work Module as Ready to Start. If this is the case, the user will need to Remove the template from the associated audit. If you encounter this scenario please refer to the Removing the template from the associated audit section of this article.
2. Restoring a work programme from a deleted status
- To restore, within Audit Work, navigate to
- Manage Work Programmes
- Restore a work programme from deleted status
- Use the filter options to find the relevant file
- Select the relevant filters
- Select Next to see the results of the search.
- Select the relevant Work Programme file
- Tick the box to the left of the name field
- Select Finish
This This will finalize the process and restore the Work Programme
3. Removing the template from the associated audit
- If a Work Programme was created using a template, the template itself will not be removed. Once these steps are finalized, the status of the Programme will change to Not Started as shown below
The name of the associated Audit file is displayed above the Work Programme name.
- To remove the template, navigate to Audit Management and find the applicable audit file.
- Open the Audit file by single clicking it and selecting Open Audit or double click the file. Once there, navigate to the Work Programmes tab to view the associated Work Programmes and Templates.
- To remove the Template
- Select the Template you wish to remove
- Select Remove Template
This will remove the template from the list, and from the Audit Work module.
- Once complete, Save and Close the audit file and follow the normal Secure Backup process:
