This article outlines and overview of the Editing Availability Conditions within Adding Recommendations, Availability conditions, Informed Items.
1. Editing Availability Conditions
- To change the condition to (OR) logic, meaning that any of the conditions may be met to trigger the item availability, select the bracket group and Edit selected item
- By changing the logic to (OR), Risk B (and all Controls and Tests associated to it) will only be available if the evaluation of Risk A > Control A > Test 1 OR Test 2 are Fully Compliant
- Using Add bracket group It is also possible to incorporate additional sub-level conditions, where a variety of (AND) and (OR) logic is used
- In the example below, Risk B and all Controls and Tests associated to it will only be available if the evaluation of Risk A > Control A > Test 1 OR Test 2 are Fully Compliant AND the evaluation of Risk A > Control B > Test 3 is not Non Compliance:
- Where Template Designer is not necessarily used to manage master programmes, it is also possible to access the same level of functionality from Audit Management directly
- Within the audit file, any Work Programmes which displays a Not started or submitted status are available to customise, subject to the corresponding System Configuration setting being enabled
- Selecting Customise Template opens the template editor window, where the availability conditions can be configured as needed
- Items that are unavailable based upon conditions set, will appear greyed-out to the auditor. For example, as none of the Tests for Risk A have been evaluated and therefore do not match the conditions set, Risk B is not available for use
- Under certain circumstances it may be necessary to ignore the availability conditions, in order to document Findings against items that are greyed-out, navigate to

- Work Programme management and review settings
- Enabling the setting does not apply any visual changes to conditionally unavailable items, though it becomes possible to provide Findings as normal, and an evaluation that contributes towards the Work Programme score
- Completing otherwise unavailable work in this manner does not affect the Progress bar, which focuses only on items that are available
