In this article, we explore the latest enhancements introduced in the 12.0 Business user portal, designed to streamline user experiences and improve functionality. These developments aim to empower users with more efficient tools and features tailored to their specific needs within the system.
1. Business user portal
1.1 Attachments
A new permission governs which users, if any, may delete existing and/or new attachments. This helps facilitate the need for users to be able to add new attachments but not remove existing attachments.
1.2 Update notes
The ability to edit Update Notes is now controllable independently from the client application.
Existing as a new menu item within Configuration, System Configuration, General, additional settings such as the Editable duration and Editable by options are still maintained through the client and apply to both systems.
This development ensures that while Audit users may have these settings enabled in the client application, it can be disabled for the Business Users.
1.3 Update and close
The recommendation Update and Close button has been made more prominent on the on the screen, both also receiving dedicated common icons.
1.4 Date selection
When allocating dates, the date-picker menu has been considerably reduced in size in order to preserve visibility of all other recommendation fields on the same page.
1.5 Sub-level recommendation
The option to hide Search sub-level items as a specific criterion is now available under Configuration, System Configuration, General, Hide Search Filters. This feature ensures that sub-level Recommendations remain hidden unless the higher-level Recommendation is already expanded.
