Allocating other important permissions

Administrator access is required to assign permissions.
This article details additional permissions that may require allocation, including reporting, search and logging, and support permissions.
1. Reporting Permissions
Permission | Description |
---|---|
Delete memorised reports created by other users | This permission allows a user to delete any memorised reports created by other users. This permission applies to all memorised reports available from any modules. |
2. Search and logging permissions
Permission | Description |
---|---|
Allow Viewing of Client and Server Logs | In the event that Internal Audit experiences an issue, a log is generated. Morgan Kai then uses these logs to resolve any problems. This permission will allow the user to access these read-only logs. |
Perform Unrestricted System Searches, Bypassing Permissions and Access Checks | This permission will allow a user to complete a keyword search on information held within Internal Audit, bypassing any permission and access restrictions. |
Show host Infrastructure Details in Event Log Search Results | This permission will allow the user to see the host infrastructure details in the event log search results (i.e. Client Machine Name, Client Machine IP, etc.). This is typically a system administrative permission. |
View and search the event log | This permission is related to the Event Log in the Support menu. It allows the user to access and use the log to locate a comprehensive list of activities completed by all users within Internal Audit. |
3. Support permissions
Permission | Description |

Allow Elevation of User Account to System Administrator Rights |
This permission allows the users account to be temporarily elevated to a system administrator role in order to allow Morgan Kai Customer Support Representatives to assist with support queries. Note: Only some support sessions will require this elevation. |
Authorise Access to Internal Audit Support Representative |
Only applicable to Morgan Kai hosted customers. In order for a Morgan Kai Customer Support Representative to access the database to assist with support queries, a security token will need to be obtained. Important: Only users with this permission assigned will be able to generate this security token. |
