1. Audit creation and review
1.1 Read-only copies
- A Clear all read-only copies button has been added, allowing users to clear all audits downloaded for read-only access at once, rather than clearing each one individually.
1.2 New Audits
- When using Select audit details from the plan, an additional element to the wizard menu provides the option to choose from which baselined, approved plan the audit should be taken from. In previous versions audits could only be imported from the Default plan.
1.3 Audit trail
- The Details tab now includes a scroll bar to navigate to all areas that may appear hidden due to local resolution restrictions.
- Located beneath the Audit status summary on the Details tab, each Audit file features a button to Show audit trail.
- The audit trail will document modifications made to key standard fields including Audit Name, Type, Reference, Opinion, Notes, Scope, Objectives, Rationale, Key Dates, Team Roles, Other Participants, and, where applicable, Audit and Planned Audit metadata.
- Key Dates also features its own detailed audit trail, by using the right-click mouse option to View audit trail.
- The Event Log now includes actions such as deleting Work Programmes from the local store, whether executed through the Audit file or otherwise.
1.4 Attachments
- Not specific to this area of the system alone, but most notable when considering the review of Audit Reports, the API used to drive bespoke reporting and email notifications has been updated to include information about the File size, Last Edited Date and Last Edited By user for all attachments saved to the system.
- In addition, via the Manage audit associated data utility in the second-tier menu of Audit Creation & Review, it is now possible to delete prior versions of audit attachments.
- When using drag-and-drop to quickly add files to the Audit, the system now provides an immediate option to determine the Folder location that they should be attached within. Auditors and Budgets.
-
Within Tools, navigate to Configuration, then Users, Roles and Permissions, and select Roles. A new option to Limit to audit use is now available alongside Available for audit assignments. This allows audit teams to operate with a standalone set of roles that govern system permissions while also managing a separate set of roles purely for audit assignments.
-
Also within Tools, Configuration, then System Configuration, navigate to Annual Planning. A new component to Show teams when assigning auditors can be enabled or disabled. This controls the visibility of Associated Teams during the life cycle of audit planning, scheduling, and audit management.
1.5 Work programmes
- When using the Customise Template function to make audit specific updates to the work programmes design pre-determined in the Template Designer module, users can now Show original template design which will allow them to compare the customised template to the original template. This feature is only available before the Work Programme is started.
- The function to roll-forward previous audit work programmes also provides additional information to the user, by categorising the available programmes into folders that identify instances where the programme selected is in fact out of date, based on a new active copy existing in the Template Designer library.
1.6 All areas
- The option to pop-out the audit file so that several files can be viewed and edited at once by the same user, is now possible via the same function as Work Programmes.
From the third-tier menu bar near the top of the screen, locate and select the multiple-window icon that appears on the far right-hand side. - The functionality for external archiving of audits has been repurposed and moved to the Help section under Ideagen Support, now accessible at Permanently delete audits from the database.
